4-track extension Linz - Wels lot 3.4 in Marchtrenk. The Project will last for 4,5 years, from 2022 to 2027.

The main task of the project is the upgrading from a 2-track rail system to a 4-track rail facility with new high-performance tracks for maximum line speeds up to 230 km/h (e.g. railjet) and a speed up to 160 km/h for regional traffic.

Our construction lot stretches from km 205,592 to km 208,200. The works include the renewal of noise protection structures and the train station in Marchtrenk, the construction of new underpasses for pedestrians, cyclists and cars as well as the construction of a new underpass building for the new railroad line and the new technical stations for the railroad operation.
