MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPLEX “ETNAPOLIS” - CATANIA

Multifunctional complex on a plot area of 240,000 square meters and a total area of 140,000 square meters of the center. The retail area is 105,000 square meters and 18,000 square meters for the hypermarket surface. There are six major specialized areas, a food court, a multiplex cinema (12), a large surface DIY (Castorama), parking for 5,600 covered parking spaces and a fuel distributor. The works are made of structural foundations of reinforced concrete pillars and beams connected up to the soffit of the beams of the ground floor; works of elevation through beams and pillars in metallic carpentry until the cover. Floors of  the ground floor in prefabricated tiles "pi greca", intermediate floors and roof in "predalles" sheets. About kg. 10.000.000 of metal were put in place. The particular complexity and size of the project was handled by the company as a General Contractor. Sub-contracting companies have been selected,  appropriately structured both for their quality and dimensions of the parts of works assigned, constantly followed by technicians of the Company. A specifically dedicated  staff dealt with the constant monitoring of the quality of the work in full compliance with the logic of UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.
