NEW DEPARTMENTS OF MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING AND PRODUCTION

Creation of new departments of the Polytechnic of Milan (Department of Management Engineering  - DIG and Master of Engineering in Manufacturing - MIP) performed in the area called "Ex Officine Metallurgiche Broggi" in Milan. The intervention included the final design of structures. The works carried out are: the restoration of an existing building covered with metal framing, the conservation of the perimeter columns and their reinforcement with metal framing and an interfloor with metal slab and the construction of buildings with bearing structure in reinforced concrete, slabs type spirol made of hollow core slabs, self-supporting in  prestressed reinforced concrete, and all building works such as technological systems (cooling and heating, electrical, sanitary, fire, telephone networks and provision of data transmission networks, elevators and hoists).
